En-Suite Installation

En-suites that belong to the bedroom.

Bespoke en-suite installations across Cheshire and Greater Manchester. On principal bedrooms, loft conversions, extensions and garden rooms — with boosted hot water, NICEIC electrics and full tanking as standard.

Why Choose Us

The difference is in the setting-out.

Most en-suite problems aren\'t the plumbing. They\'re the layout — a badly-sized shower enclosure you can\'t comfortably stand in, a WC positioned so you can\'t close the door with the lid up, a basin that the bedroom wardrobes can\'t open next to. Getting the setting-out right is the entire job.

We CAD up the layout, walk you through the options, and don\'t order a single stud until you\'ve signed off on the plan — so the finished room works as well in the middle of the night as it does on the quote sheet.

What's Included

The full en-suite package.

From CAD layout to the final silicon bead. Studwork, plumbing, electrics, tanking, tiling and decorating — one contract, one team.

  • Layout CAD

We'll work the en-suite into an existing bedroom without cramping the bed, wardrobes or window lines.

  • Studwork & Partitioning

Acoustic-insulated stud walls with moisture-resistant board — so the en-suite isn't loud from the bedroom.

  • Pressure Testing

Mains flow and pressure checked on site. Pumps or cylinder upgrades specified where the figures don't add up.

  • Soil & Waste Runs

Gravity waste runs to existing stacks wherever possible — macerators only when the layout really needs one.

  • Tanking

Full liquid-membrane waterproofing to every shower area — the same standard as our wet rooms.

  • Underfloor Heating

Electric underfloor heating mats as standard — the stone floor stays warm first thing in the morning.

  • Concealed Frames

Wall-hung WCs and basins on concealed Geberit frames — cleaner lines, less to clean.

  • NICEIC Electrics

IP-rated lighting, shaver sockets, extractor fans — certified and inspected.

Frequently Asked

En-Suite FAQs.

What clients ask us most often about adding an en-suite.

How much does an en-suite installation cost?

A compact three-piece en-suite (WC, basin, shower) typically runs £7,500–£11,500 fully installed. Larger master en-suites with freestanding baths, twin basins and stone tiling sit in the £14,000–£22,000 range.

Do I need a pump or extra hot water capacity?

Often yes — adding a shower to a first-floor en-suite when the existing cylinder is old or the mains pressure is low will need a hot-water-specific pump or a cylinder upgrade. We test flow and pressure at the site visit and include any boosting in the quote.

Can you carve an en-suite out of an existing bedroom?

Yes — partitioning off a corner of a bedroom, converting a wardrobe recess or extending into airing-cupboard space are all common approaches. We'll CAD up the options so you see how the bedroom works after the en-suite is in.

Where can the waste pipes go?

Normally we run them down through a wall stud to tie into the existing soil stack, or along the joists to an external stack. In tricky layouts a Saniflo-type macerator is sometimes the answer, but we only use them where a gravity run genuinely isn't possible.

Will you tank the en-suite?

Yes — every en-suite shower area gets the same two-coat liquid membrane treatment we apply to a wet room. Non-negotiable.

How long does it take?

A typical en-suite installation is 2–3 weeks on site, including partition walls, first-fix plumbing, tanking, tiling, electrics and second-fix.
